This week's editorial in the Courier Journal was way off base. He talks about the increase in crime in this area reflects on the high cost of gas. That's crazy! These people are shooting and robbing people for their hard earned money are not doing it to get gas to go to work daily. They're not doing it to feed their family. These are low life, thug crackheads looking to feed their habit because they don't work.

Didn't know that. I thought everybody had to pre-pay these days.

Some places have started requiring pre-pay, some don't. It probably won't be long until more if not all places require pre-pay or offer pay at the pump with debit/credit cards. That's my favorite way to pay. Smiler
Jimbo--I agree with you--it has nothing to do with the gas situation, the reality is that these low-lifes would be stealing regardless instead of working and earning their own monies the honest way. I think they are using the "gas" situation as an EXCUSE to steal. In their backward, wicked minds, it justifies them to steal because gas costs have risen. If they would divert that ingenuity on working for a living instead of taking things that aren't theirs to steal, it would surprise them how good honesty feels!
