Top McCain Aides Come Clean: Sarah Palin is Mentally Ill

In the course of discussing the possibility of Sarah Palin entering the GOP Presidential field, Nicolle Wallace told Rachel Maddow that the fictional Vice Presidential character in her new book, It’s Classified, was inspired by Sarah Palin. This Vice President is “cuckoo for cocoa puffs” and resigns in shame.

It’s almost three years since Republican strategists Steve Schmidt and Nicolle Wallace were telling us that Sarah Palin had been vetted, that she was a great choice, that she was ready to be President. Now that the truth has come out, the story of the behind the scenes real Sarah Palin should serve as a warning for all voters.

Soon after the 2008 lost election, McCain staffers began talking. Schmidt told Anderson Cooper that he received a call from Palin’s debate prep team, saying the “Debate will be debacle of historic and epic proportions…she was not focused, not engaged, not participating in prep. She sat in a catatonic stupor, head down.” Staffers from all levels describe Palin as “mentally unstable…Unwilling to work… Mentally limited… Ultimately, unfit for office.”

Yes, your instincts were correct. Sarah Palin is not well, but then neither is the Republican Party.

The Party that sold you Sarah Palin has so far offered you the likes of Rick Perry, Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain as real contenders. The sane folks like Jon Huntsman are left in the Tea Party dust. The only coherent, semi-sane contender is Mitt Romney, and Mitt Romney comes from such protected wealth that he suggested he was “middle class” the other day. Romney has no idea what middle class is; but I can assure him that it’s not deciding which vacation home is best visited in fickle March.

What’s left in the “ideology” of the GOP are a bunch of Randian economic policies meant to turn the country over to corporations, and that is only an easy sell to the Tea Party or with sleazy ad hominems such as “pallin’ around with terrorists”, a Nicolle Wallace creation most often attributed to Sarah Palin only because Palin was ignorant, short-sighted and power-hungry enough to actually say it.

Rand Paul doesn’t care if you die; blocks gas pipeline safety regulations “on principle.”

One symptom of mental illness is delusion. Such as believing someone is running for president when they're not.

Another symptom is strange obsession. Such as a odd fixation on a person or celebrity. Sometimes obsession will cause the sufferer to believe things that are not true.

So if anyone believes this drivel or spends more than thirty seconds a day thinking about Palin, then they might want to get an evaluation.

It was well know in DC that McCain's campaign staff begin the "Palin is crazy" excuse to deflect anger towards them for running such a poor excuse of a campaign. In short, a DC CYA of the meanest type to excuse their incompetence.  Most reasonable people, even Democrats, recognized this and tossed it aside.

But, then Propie, you are THE PROPAGANDIST!  And, anything you say must be taken, not with a grain of salt, but the whole damm shaker.

The crazy part is that you are deluded to think anyone other than you yourself has your best interests  as their motivation for... anything. If you are truly that naive, then at least it explains your apparent alignment with "progressives".
