Did you see the story of the lady who was a patient in the hospital in Huntsville? Channel 19 had the story last night and it seems the hospital staff threw her dentures out. Of course, they could not be held responsible, BUT a cosmetic dentistry office, here in Muscle Shoals, has offered to GIVE her replacement dentures and provide transportation to get her over here and back. I think the local folks who stepped up to the plate deserve a pat on the back for this one...

American by birth, Southern by the grace of God.

I'm sure you can get insurance with a higher payment level. You'll just have to pay more yourself.

You have a contract with your insurance company. They will provide a set amount of coverage for a set price. If you want, I'm sure they'll renegotiate the contract.

Yes, you have a contract, even if it's through your employer.

I didnt see it but would think the hospital would be responsible. Depends on why they trashed them I guess , if she was in surgery , the people in the operating room should be held liable for them .

Actually, all that paper work you sign while being admitted includes a provision that the hospital will not be held responsible for the loss of any of your property (rings, watches, teeth...any thing that is detachable).
