That's one of the things I think about for our daughter--she is adopted from China, and we will never know her family (it's not a closed adoption but the family will never come forward). But chances of her meeting up with a family member are very slim.

Besides, if they are same-sex in that article, you wouldn't have to worry about them having children. Wink
Where did it say it was Arkansas?

I assumed it was in the UK since it had the co.uk in the link. xD

Either way, that is completely, and totally weird. Can you imagine the odds of that? *shakes head*

I wonder if the ESP that twins supposedly have, played a part?

Very strange. I feel bad for them, that's got to be one tough, and very traumatizing thing to discover about a spouse.

Greenhill mom,the China gov. doesn't want you to know who their family is.all adopted china babys come thru GZ,they don't want a generation of adopted babys comming back finding their "Roots". I was on the train from Hong Kong to GZ with a girl from Calif that was doing a doc. film on just this subject, and she interviewed kids in US and was tracing back to the real parents and showing them how their kids were doing now,and filming it.she had to be real careful that she didn't get caught by the Gov! also have a guy in the office that adopted one at 9 months,(now 5)was told she was abanded in a market,he is over here working and he took her back to meet the people that cared for her, they took pictures but when they tried to send them, they got"lost"
Wow! What are the chances of that happening, good thing they found out before starting a family. And from what I hear from twin friends of mine there is such a connection that even when one is in another state they feel what the other is feeling. So I am sure they were totally drawn to each other.
