There is much debate surrounding the COVID-19 Virus and especially the reactions to it.  I've always wondered how America, as a whole, would respond to a catastrophic event whether it be war, a natural disaster on a grand scale, or whatever and along comes Coronavirus COVID-19.  I remember hearing my father (and Mother) talk about times being rough during the great depression years because it made an impression on them as kids (at that time).  Today mimics some of those things they said happened.

While there is much uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 virus one thing is for sure and that is that there have been unprecedented reactions to it by our Government officials as well as those around the world.  Another thing is the panic that has set in among those shopping these days.  I, myself, took it for granted going through the grocery stores and seeing all shelves packed out and stocked with so many things, even those that I thought would be little desired items but they were never the less there for anyone that wanted it.  Today, though, most stores have had to implement limits on the number of items purchased and others are bulk buying whether they need it or not.

Not to mention the non-frozen area of the store with empty shelves and Foodland is just the same as I expect Walmart and the others are.  I don't know if it's the demand or lack of supply to keep up with it or just panic buying on many people's part?  Either way, it's unsettling to think of what will happen if our food supply ever is adversely affected.

OK. So YOU have food and toilet paper. Are you prepared to KEEP it?

My oldest daughter knows that I, without a cause, usually am well prepared for most anything so one of the first things she did was hit me up for one of the large bundles of toilet paper that I had in my inventory.  Sadly, with respect to my daughters these days, we never hear from them (or the grandkids) unless there are somethings they want or they have gotten themselves in trouble and need bailing out.  I had enough so I gave her a bulk pack.

As for protection, we have that covered very well with  Mr. Smith & Mr.Wesson who dropped by not to mention a few others congregating around the house so we are well covered in that area also, if the need ever arises

I wasn't raised, nor am I now, Church of Christ but regardless of that I never could dance.  I always wanted to but just not one of my gifts.  I guess I could go out and try because everyone deserves a laugh every now and again and that's for sure what I'd give to people if I tried to dance.
