Frowner I saw the news clip of 2 residences discussing the condition of Waters Edge Drive and have read the article that appeared on WAFF.com stating that the developer did not feel that he needed to be responsible for the current condition of the road because the road was there when he started developing the area on both sides of this road.
My thoughts - since this was a "private" road what made him think that he had the right to destroy the road bringing over weight vehicles and machines on the road to enable him to build houses for his own "personal" gain. Maybe he needs to share the profits from his development with all the residences to restore the road to it's original condition?

My wife and I looked at buying a house out there about 5 years ago. After walking through one of the houses under construction we changed our minds. You could tell things were being done cheap and corners were being cut. I sure wasn't about to invest my money in a home that was built that poorly.

Looks like Fisher builds roads like he builds houses, lousy!

I know there have been many homes built there since we looked and I hope for the home owners the quality improved.
Be glad that you did not buy a home there. Homeowners have been unable to get the road repaired or maintained, the houses are built by cutting corners as we found out when we replaced a deck door. Homeowners pay their taxes and we get no help or nothing done. Fisher on the other hand had his home up for sale for $300,000 at one point and he resides on that road!!! I think they should rename that developement as 'Fisher's Pot Hole Hollow". Sounds more appropriate to me for starters.
