Spent the first two weeks of December flying in and out of California. While sitting in the back "well not to far in the back" deadheading home from LAX I started talking to my seat neighbor. Well turns out he and several of the guys sitting close were ARMY AIRBORN on their way back to IRAQ after I believe only 18 days leave. I first thanked them and then wished them well. These guys were all a lot younger than me "44" and not aggravated at having to go back before Christmas. I enjoyed their stories and felt guilty about my worries of getting home early for Christmas. We should all be thankfull there are people who volunteer to serve and protect this great country. Hope all our service men & women have a safe Christmas and return home safely.
To all Active Service & Veterans Thank You For Your Service & Merry Christmas,
HIFLYR

Also, there is hope for the Banana Republic of California. They were playing traditional Christmas Carols including Christian ones all morning in the LAX Airport
