I found this drink mix at Target- Pear Martini. Yes, I know, it's a total chick drink- nice and sweet. But it is so good! I'm usually an Apple Martini kind of gal, but my favorite fruit is pear, so I thought, why the heck not a pear martini!

So, what is Your favorite Martini? Shaken, not stirred? With a twist? Olives or Onions? Vodka or Gin?

Cheers!!

I've heard of martini's, but I prefer Tennessee whisky 90 proof with cold beer on the side. Now I want to write a song.

Here. Have a blues lyric. Just get a good 3-chord blues progression in mind fist so you have a head-start.

I spent last night...with a bottle by my side.
I say I spent last with a bottle by my side.
That Tennessee whiskey, baby,
it'll steal a Dixie man's pride...

and another verse, somewhere later...

Woke up this morning, that empty bottle restin' next to me,
Say I woke up this morning, that empty bottle restin' next to me...
gonna swear off it one more time, baby,
before it gets the best of me...

heh. Sorry about that. We will now return to your regularly scheduled programming.

I like mine dirty with vodka. Shaken with crushed ice (I like the crystals floating around in the mix). Three giant olives and I am in paradise.

A close second place is a lemon drop. Not one made from a mix but one made from real lemon. When properly made, they are not too sweet, quite refreshing and definitely not a "chick drink."

Oh, and just to start an argument: Anyone who uses anything other than a bar brand is really silly and has more money than brains.
