The CIA found UBL, and Obama gave the order to go get him. A very risky move by sending military personnel into the compound instead of using a drone. Had it gone bad, I suspect you would have blamed Obama for the "failure" .

However, Obama's resolve, and his orders did the job,. You may not want him to get any credit, but we all know the truth.  Actually, Obama has whittled down the command heads of Al Queda quite a bit, way more than did Bush.  So YES, Obama got Osama, - it is what it is.

Clinton never expressed any desire or intent to protect Americans from the threat of terrorism beyond the continental US. 

 

BushIIe had his own motives for invading Iraq.  THe CIA is not as stoopid as to base a recommendation to initiate military action on another sovereign country on the basis of the story of one informant, an informant the Germans had termed unreliable to the CIA.  Plus, why was there no declaration of war?  the WMDs were claimed to be a direct threat to the USA, and we took the entire AFUS there to eliminate the threat, yet we did it without any Constitutional authority.
