This article highlights a couple of wasteful programs that should be killed but won't die. If we cannot get serious about chump change like this I doubt we as a country ever get serious about getting spending under control. Guess Uncle Ben will keep the presses rolling.

Everyone is in favor of cutting waste until it comes to their favorite program and their congress critter bringing home the bacon for their district. The only bad bacon is the bacon you didn't get.
