?donde puedo conseguir el uso para ABB?
我宁愿到美国为ABB公司工作。
pipepat, would you mind saying just what union you belong to here in the GREAT UNITED STATES??? I am assuming Pipe Fitter, since Boilermakers call them 'tubes'.
And while we are talking about it, you are still very shameful for selling out your Country and saying the things you have said here. And then to come on here and type Chinese is a slap in the face of all of us. You are disgusting.

Maybe Bobby Irons can go "save" them again.

quote:So far what I hear at the plant is The steelworkers and all the skilled-craft unions are committed to standing together. We will see as it gets closer to November the First.
This could be as exciting as when the other company took over the now Ravenswood plant from Kaiser and busted the union up in West Virginia I think where they shot at cars of the salaried and contract people going up the hill to the plant. Some people call them scabs I call them contract people, uuhhhmm. I'll have some of them french fried taters.
I was up there working contract (job shopper) at the Union Carbide plant at the time 90-91 The first gulf war,and they told me at the plant under on circumstance go near Ravenswood with them Alabama plates on my car. They killed 2 on that one. they brought in non-union from Ky. and they lived on plant site in traliers.
With the level of old technology Wie is using, I'm surprised they're still in business.

I personally have never worked a union job but I work at a plant where the production workers are union and I have never heard any complaints about it. I do know of some newer plants in the area that are union. Take SCA in Barton, union, members of the Steel workers union. SCA employees over 400 people and many of those jobs are hourly union jobs. It is my understanding that the salary positions down there are not union. The new plant coming in down in Barton will be union as well. They too will be members of the Steel workers union so I hear. It was a concern for managemnet at SCA that the new plant would pay more to start than they do and were afraid they would loose employees to National Alabama. They union had told them that National Alabama would have a lower hire in rate then SCA but that turned out to be false.
As far as Wise is concerned those folks should probably start looking for a job. That place has been on the way down since before Wise took over. I had a lady from wise contact me some time back about a position with them and I told her I wasn't interested. I like to have a little security with my job and to me that place is a couple years from being an empty building.
In ALL the places that employee union workers, the Salary people do not belong to a Union. Their force does, but they don't.
So SCA and the New plant are just falling in line with everyone else it looks like.
This is absolutely correct, I am at TVA and the workers are craft......management - are not.
My father paid union dues even as a foreman and later as management at TVA. He just could not go on strike and the union understood and welcomed the dues.
Foremen at TVA can and are encouraged to be members of a Union.
Managers at TVA are not allowed Union affiliation. They can, however, take an honorary withdrawal from the Union they were affiliated with and if they lose their job for one reason or another.
