Doesn’t seem like a good idea advertising to all the criminals that Christians don’t lock their doors. Sort of like inviting them in your home to get whatever they want.

Uh huh. They're all christians around here, too-and you KNOW the only people leaving the door unlocked are the ones whose door has been kicked in by the other christians so many times it doesn't even have the part where the lock goes anymore.
Although, falsely accused, I do not nor have not believed that Atheist should not post here nor do I believe Christians should be the only ones that have a right being here. It is a Religion board for all Religions.
As for atheist populating the board in the numbers they do it is interesting to me that if this is something that they intensly dislike why would they want and desire to post as much here unless they have the desire to proselyte for whatever position they advocate or there is some desire to harm those who believe differently by aggrevating them. I do find it inconsistant when someone says and advocates that atheism is not a religion yet desires to come here because it's a religion board specified for people of religion. I personally believe atheism IS a religion of it's own because it is a belief structure even if that belief is in nothing or in the case of atheistm an animosity toward God rather than just believing in nothing which I see agnostics more being. Often though what we see, rather than people explaining their own basis for their own beliefs or lack of them, is debasement of another member or attacking the member rather than dialog and being argumentive. Yes Christians also are guilty of doing this also. I do realize that some of our own people, Christians that is, have used the forum and post in order to attack or demean another member who might be of a different religion, faith, belief or otherwise and that is just as wrong. The act is just as wrong regardless whom it originates from.
The point and thing I challenge with respect to atheist, agnostics, or anyone else on here is what intent iss there? IF the intent is to cause disruption then I do not believe they should be here. If the intent is debate, disagreement, or respectful dialog to discuss topics and express personal opinions then that is justification for being here but if the intent is to ridicule and seek to destroy someone elses belief system just because it is in opposition to your own then that is not acting as a good community neighbor and is not, in my opinion, rationalization for being here. People can learn as much through conflicts as they do agreements but being here just to aggrevate or disrespect or to avenge someone's own peronal grievance is more a statement about that person than anything else.

How much time do you spend around atheists, that you know that is? Do they gather every wed, every sunday morning and night, as well as all the extra 'studies' they hold? Do they stand on street corners 'preaching' atheism? Hmmmm, no, that's the so called christians. Gee, kinda looks like it's them that can't talk about anything else.

I post on the politics thread and so do you. I'm not a politician, are you?
You post on the food threads all the time, do you work for or own a restaurant?
You post on the news threads don't you? So do I. Have you been in the news? I haven't. Religion is a huge part of our lives, as big as politics. It would be foolish to ignore it and let so called christians decide what everyone should do, how they should live, how they should think, what they should subject themselves and their children to in schools and public. Again, the forum is to discuss religion, that means in any form you wish to discuss it. It never stipulated that a person had to be a believer to post here. So stop thinking you own the forum and set the rules for it just because of the title. As far as atheism being a religion, it is only you so called christians that want it called that. It doesn't matter one bit to me if you call it a religion, and if it is a religion, it's the best one out there.

Can your belief system be destroyed? Wouldn't you and other so called christians destroy atheism if you could? Again, it is not up to you to 'rationalize' who should or shouldn't post here. As for the fighting that goes on here, from what I see it is 99.99% of the so called christians fighting with each other and running each other down, unless they can find common ground to gang up on someone else.
Gotta love that christian love! And while this is going on, public school systems are asking muslims how they can make the school systems more 'muslim friendly'.

I’m curious what you have been falsely accused of & by who? This forum isn’t necessarily for all Religions, it’s a forum to discuss Religion so that would make it for anyone, not just “Religious” people. Atheist discuss Religion because most of them were raised in church or in church when they turned away from it, & they usually know the Bible as well as, if not better than, the Religious people. It's interesting to me to hear some of the comments the Religious come up with.

I don’t think Atheist “intensely dislike” this forum or Christians. The problem is those “Christians” that play the part, that are so judgmental & rude. (the hypocrites are easily to spot) Just to verify, I’m not implying that you are one of those hypocrites.

Well, I've been looking at the threads and I see a lot of discussions about different things, but I'm not finding any discussion of atheism. Hmmmmmmm
There's a few on Atheism but the Religious discussions far outnumber them. I would like for Chuckie to show us where, in the rules, it says only religious stuff, by religious people, can be discussed here.
Well, chuckie did post 'never talks about anything else' so I did look. Really let down that he 'fibbed'.
