I remembered his death because I believe my father worked with his uncle several years ago at TVA. I searched and found his death listed as Saturday, June 16. To read the entire obit, one must pay 3.00.

I believe I read at the time that he had an accident at home and died surrounded by his family, but I may have him confused with someone else. Hope this helps.

Why do you have to pay to read the obit? That doesn't seem fair.

Just go to the library at UNA or one of the local ones and look it up on their old papers or microfilm...

Nevermind FV -- just another way the TD does not serve it customer base -- it milks it -- they allow Legacy.com to charge you 2.95 just to read an obit that is in an archive. You used to be able to search it on the TD ... very "classy" note the sarcasm...
