On my table are three coins, one each of copper, silver, and gold. If you tell me a true statement, I have to give you a coin. If you do not make a true statement, I may not give you a coin.

What sentence can you say that guarantees you get the gold coin?

DF

Sentence: You will not give me a copper or silver coin.

If you do not give me any coins at all the statement is true, so you must give me a coin.

If you give me a copper or silver coin the statement is false.

So you must give me the gold coin.
